There are no one size fits all solutions when it comes to ageing and wellness. We all come with different genetics and life experiences. We each see and react to the world differently.
I offer one on one coaching, working with you to define your goals, and give you the tools to achieve them. By working with what you have and where you have been, we can find what you as an individual need, tailored solutions to assist you to discover your own unique, personal, better ageing style.
Ageing as it once was is no longer a given. Choosing a strategy and sticking to it? Difficult at best, impossible at worst! And there’s the dilemma; so many choices on offer that it is often easier and less stressful to ignore positive changes for fear of making the wrong choice.
Our diet is the key to better ageing, and there is no one size fits all approach that works. With a variety of different diets (protocols) on offer, you may do best with a hybrid protocol that suits you and fits with your lifestyle. If it isn’t personalized to this degree…

OLDER WOMEN ARE BEING LEFT TO HANG OUT AND DRY, QUITE LITERALLY.
There is something we are not talking about. Its postmenopause!
And yes, it’s inevitable as a woman and even as a man, but that is a different story. We hear a lot about perimenopause and now menopause, but sorry, the story does not stop there. As a great reader on the subject, I can find very little about self-care after menopause, let alone anything preventative! Actually, not to be too depressing, life can get worse! That’s why we need to talk about it!
The hormone rollercoaster basically never gives us a break; after menopause, it can be a free fall (that’s what I found) to minimum hormones and maximum bad life impact as we age. Postmenopause and low hormones can lead too: more belly fat, carvings, heart disease, and poor mental health: anxiety, depression, dementia. Let alone lower bone density readings, muscle loss, collagen breakdown, exceedingly dry and thinning skin, lines and wrinkles, and thinning coarsening hair. Plus, I nearly forgot: low to non-existent libido, vagina dryness, painful sex and other more graphic female under-pant discomfort. Plus, there is the societal view? Do we exist? Are we relevant? Does what we say get heard? Are we offending anyone with our potentially dated views?
So much to cover, I know! So let's talk about POSTMENOPAUSE. I believe we can better age, and we can better postmenopause. Many of the negative life effects of postmenopause can be averted with lifestyle choices and the right professional help. Also, Id like to empower women to do the reading and understand what’s happening to their bodies (it's not our fault); then we can be smart and work around our individual circumstances. This is what true new world wellness is about!
My coaching clients are ‘middle-aged goddesses’ who are suffering from the effects of menopause and postmenopause. In part, this is why I write this, as It has been made painfully clear that information needs to be more available.
You can be well and the woman you want to be, and be over 56, postmenopausal and not fizzle into someone else’s sunset.
